Enhanced by sunshiny colors and details this print portrays a noteworthy time in Baptist history in Texas, soon after it was declared a free and independent republic in 1836. Z. N. Morrel, the pioneer Texas Baptist from South Carolina, and fellow Christians headed home after a service one night.
